1952 History of Dunster
In 1952, Ilse Read and the Dunster Women's Insitute compiled a History of Dunster that chronicled the history of the town up until that point. Some of the photos and information on this site come from that book, so this will serve as a citation of sorts.
The book was never published, indeed, there was only the original, which remains in the hands of a family member. However, good-quality copies were recently made and eventually we may be able to scan and/or transcribe much of the book to make it available here.
