August 31, 2012:
We are pleased to announce that Kim McNaughton has been awarded the contract as co-ordinator to administer the renovation contracts and purchase new equipment for the School and property under the New Horizons Grant Program. Kim has so much experience in administration and in organizing things. We are confident that she will do a stellar job!
We would also like to thank all the volunteers who helped out at the Robson Valley Music Festival concession two weeks ago. We have now figured out that the weekend of hard work and dedication (and a few overcooked burgers!) has raised $2,778.70 clear for the Dunster Fine Arts School Society. This will take care of almost six months payments on the mortgage! A dedicated crew and a successful outcome! The "Buy-Local Burgers" were a huge success with a few people even requesting them for breakfast! Our thanks also go out to all the festival-goers who supported our efforts by their purchases.
Thank you so much for joining us.
